For the second chapter of Studio Craig Black’s collaboration with Disney, Craig was invited to perform a live art activation at the Disney takeover of Copal Beach Club during the Cannes Lions Festival.

Alongside sand sculptor artist Stephen Lozza, who created an incredible depiction of Moana, Craig live-painted an artwork that captured the ocean’s movement and magic — a glowing pearl inspired by the spirit of the film.

Nestled within and around the Moana sand sculpture was a collection of bespoke ‘Fusion Stones’ — each hand-painted using Craig’s signature ‘Acrylic Fusion’ technique and adorned with the iconic Disney ‘D’. Every guest received a stone as a one-of-a-kind memento of this unforgettable moment by the sea.
