We’re Craig, Ally, and our little girl Olivia—a creative family living in the beautiful coastal town of Gourock, Scotland. Surrounded by stunning views, we draw inspiration daily to craft meaningful art and share a life filled with creativity, connection, and purpose.
Our journey began over a decade ago when we met, and our shared dream of building something meaningful has grown ever since. We married in a dreamy ceremony in Mexico, and in 2020, Olivia was born—filling our lives with joy and new purpose. Her arrival reshaped how we saw the world and inspired us to create a family life rooted in creativity, love, and togetherness; the foundation values of Studio Craig Black.
Craig’s journey from professional footballer to visual artist was a bold and intentional shift, fuelled by his unwavering belief in his creativity and passion for self-expression. This drive and determination has led us to creating artworks and installations for global brands and galleries.
Ally, with a background as a mental health nurse in a prison, brought resilience, empathy, and vision to our shared dream. Together, we knew we wanted to build something bigger—something that celebrates creativity while giving us the freedom to prioritise what matters most: family.
