W Edinburgh, a new luxury hotel has opened its doors and has emerged as an icon, making its mark by etching its silhouette onto Edinburgh’s skyline. The hotel sits at the heart of the St. James Quarter, a newly revitalised area of the city centre which combines world-class retail, entertainment, and dining. The hotel sits across three distinct buildings, offering a locally rooted vision and stands as a testament to the fusion of modernity and Scottish heritage.

Collaborating with W Edinburgh, Craig was tasked with creating an “Acrylic Fusion” mural which is now proudly displayed in the hotel's lobby. Using his signature “Acrylic Fusion” style, an incredibly versatile analogue process of hand pouring layers of acrylic paint to create a unique and mesmerising effect, this mural was born.

This hand painted mural titled “Beyond the Fusion” was executed by the talented Jody Thomas and showcases the “Acrylic Fusion” paint pouring technique on a grand scale. This artwork pushes the boundaries of creativity by inviting viewers into a world where art meets innovation. The artwork not only captures the essence of Scottish culture and history but also propels the spectator into an immersive experience where creativity knows no limits.
