Studio Craig Black is proud to present 'The Fusion D' — a bespoke sculptural artwork created in collaboration with Disney.

Standing at 2 metres tall, the piece reimagines the iconic 'D' from the Disney logo through Craig Black’s signature 'Acrylic Fusion' technique. The sculpture was prominently displayed at the legendary Hotel Martinez in Cannes during the prestigious Cannes Lions Festival.

Inspired by the theme 'The Story Written in Water', and drawing influence from the Mediterranean surroundings and timeless elegance of the hotel, Craig developed a custom colour palette that embodied the beauty, movement, and tranquillity of water — capturing the essence of storytelling through fluidity and form.

This collaboration marked a significant moment for the studio — not only because of Disney’s global cultural legacy, but also for the opportunity to push the boundaries of artistic expression in a setting as iconic and creatively charged as Cannes.
