KIT US OUT
Artwork
Kit Us Out launched during the 2012 London Olympics, where founder Alex Mitchell was volunteering as a Gamesmaker. He noticed that athletes who had qualified to compete, and had been flown over to represent their countries, didn’t have the necessary regulation kit to compete. Kit Us Out removes barriers to sport by providing the equipment, apparel or gear needed by its athletes.
Design Bridge who worked on the Kit Us Out rebranding, reached out to Craig to create bespoke Acrylic Fusion artworks of sport equipment that would help enhance the brand and generate a wider message and audience. The rebrand launched at the Commonwealth Games.
Every single Acrylic Fusion paint pour is a unique art-form just like each athlete participating at the Commonwealth Games and it was important to represent that. Each art piece has a quote from a beneficiary, brought to life by D&AD Shift artists; Ellen Walpole, Robi Farkas & Raafaye Ali.
The art pieces will be on a roadshow around the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham between the 28th July & 8th August 2022 to help raise awareness.
